interested in an original commission? here’s a breakdown of the process.

once I receive your inquiry* with the initial details about your vision, I’ll start piecing together a project estimate. If there are additional details that we need to work out, I’ll either reach out via email or we’ll set up a date to connect.

*the inquiry form is located at the bottom of the page. please be sure to contact me at least three months ahead of the commission deadline.

**have a vision but no photos to work with? let’s collaborate! I would be happy to plan a photography session with you that can serve as the inspiration for your painting.

when we’re ready to move forward with the commission, I’ll send you the project estimate. you will also receive an invoice for a deposit*. If need be, I’m happy to connect so we can talk through the estimate, associated terms, and expectations.

*please note that the deposit is non-refundable

As soon as I gather all the necessary materials and information, it’s time for me to get to work. from the first sketch mark to the last brush stroke, each painting can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months to complete (depending on the scale of the project as well as other scheduled work).

The painting is ready to go to its new home! We’ll make arrangements ahead of time to get your new piece to you.
